Swatches and an EOTD using The Balm's "Nude-Tude" Palette

Hi evryone! First before i get into things i want to say a huge thankyou for all of you're idea's and help on what to pick up in MAC from the USA,it was a huge help and whilst it has made my list significantly grow i am so grateful for you're suggestions and i cant wait to try them all out!
Over the last couple of months i have had quite a few of you ask for a review and swatches of the balm's "Nude-tude" palette, you asked so here i am delivering!
First off i want to say how much i love the balm at the moment! I have picked a few different products and palettes from them lately (more on that soon) and now i just want MORE!But onto the palette we are talking about today. I keep hearing/reading reviews of this palette and its constantly being compared to the naked palettes.Everyone see's colour differently but i really think that these palettes are quite different and find myself going between the 3 palettes for completely different looks,so if you have the two Naked palettes but dont want to try this because you think you might be doubling up i would still give it a go,especially if you love neutrals!

In the palette there are 4 matte colours and the other 8 are a variety of satin and metalic. The eyeshadows are such good quality, they are so pigmented and dont fade through out the day.If i had to have one gripe about anything i wish that they included a matte highlight colour, but thats just me being a bit picky. My two favorite colours in the palette are "sultry" which is the most perfect crease colour ever and "Sexy" which is a beautiful dark plum which puts a different twist on a smokey eye.

Left to right: Sassy,Stubborn,Selfish,Sophisticated

And this has been my simple EOTD lately using this palette....

If you would like to see any more looks using this palette or if i haven't answered one of you're questions please let me know :) thankyou for stopping by and dont forget to leave you're comments below i would love to know if you have tried this palette and what you thought of it?

"Knickers in a Twist" EOTD and i need you're help!

Hi pretty's! You may have noticed i have been a bit absent lately, and without giving you a ton of excuses my job has been crazy since Christmas which is good but not for my poor little blog! So all of my free time has gone to my fiance, daughter and planing our wedding which is coming up in the not too distant future :)
So today i am sharing with you my EOTD which i created using some of my "Fyrinnae" loose eyeshadows that i have recently pressed (blog post on that coming soon) featuring one of my very favorite Fyrinnae colours "Knickers in a twist". Its this rich, very pigmented satiny deep grey which looks great on absolutely everyone. I have been wearing this look almost daily lately just because its kinda smokey without being too harsh.

Products used:
Inglot gel liner #74 (a really dark eggplant purple)
Maybelline colour tattoo in "Tough as Taupe"
Fyrinnae eyeshadows in:
Knickers in a twist
Snow leopard

I hope you guys like this look, its super easy and these colours look amazing on everyone! And before i go,i need you're help!!!! My sister is going to Hawaii for her honeymoon,so needless to say i hit her up to pay a little (or a big) visit to the nearest MAC counter (yes,i have my super excited face on right now). I have started  list of things that i want to try but i would love you to leave a comment below with things i MUST try. Whatever you like, something you have tried from MAC and now you cant live without,or even just a fun colourful eyeshadow you think is a bit different that i should try,i would appreciate it so much :) Thankyou for stopping by,i am so happy to be back and excited to see what you all recommend!

BYS 18 palette

Todays post is a very quick one,but something i HAD to share with you guys! I was recently in Kmart, and found my self in the cosmetics section (do you like how i used the word "found" like it was by accident lol) now im going to be honest,i have never really been a BYS fan. The few products of theirs that i have tried were pretty cheap and nasty so i have never really been compelled to buy more....until now. A palette of theirs caught my eye,i picked it up looked at the colours and put it back down again keeping in mind what i had thought of their other products before.I was just about to leave the cosmetics section when i decided to just bite the bullet and try the palette with the pretty colours....and i am so happy i did! This palette comes with 18 different colours that to me just screams Autumn. The eyeshadows much to my surprise are very good quality and so pigmented! Something else i like about this palette is whist there are no matte shades they aren't overly sparkly or frosted either they have more of a metallic finish so they aren't too over powering when used together. And the best part? This little gem was $7!!!

(sorry about the reflection)

I was a bit backwards when swatching these i is from right to left in the palette and none of the colours have names.

This palette is definitely my best buy of 2013 so far! What do you guys think of these eyeshadows? Would you like to see a look using them?

Wet n Wild palette: Comfort Zone

Hi pretties! Todays post is the last part of my Wet n Wild 8 pan palette series this featuring the "Comfort Zone" palette. Now this is a great buy for those of you who are neutral gals but want to start experimenting with a bit of colour. This is still a very natural palette but with some very wearable, soft greens. I am already thinking up all of the Autumn looks i can create with this!

There are no names for the colours, these are the top 4 colours in the palette. These 4 are all very soft and pearly, great for highlight shades.

These are the 4 bottom shades in the palette, the one on the far left has stumped me. Whilst it is my favorite colour out of the eight i really cant understand why they used this colour in the palette it would of gone perfect in the purple "Petal Pusher" palette as its more of a purple-cranberry type of colour...

And here is a look i created using these eyeshadows...

I hope you guys liked this little series,i would love to know if there is anything else you would like to see on here i am always open to suggestions :) Have you tried the Comfort Zone palette?

Wet n Wild palette: Petal Pusher

Hi pretties,i hope you are having a fantastic weekend! Todays post is part two of the Wet 'n' Wild 8 pan palette series featuring the "Petal Pusher" palette. This palette would have to be my pick of the three, maybe because the colours are beautiful or maybe because i'm obsessed with purple...either way you need this palette in you're life!

What i love about this palette is there are such a variation of shades both cool and warm to help create tons of different looks.

These eyeshadows dont have names, these are the top 4 colours in the palette.(LOVE the colour on the far right!)

These are the 4 bottom colours in the palette. The 1st and the 3rd colour are very similar except the 3rd colour has more of a cooler,blue-ish tone.

And here is a look i created using this palette...

Are you a purple fan? Have you used these eyeshadows? Share you're thoughts with me :) Thanks for stopping by i appreciate each and every one of you!

Wet n Wild Palette: Blue Had Me At Hello

Hi beauties,i hope you all had a fabulous new years! Today i'm bringing you one of a three part series featuring the Wet 'n' Wild 8 pan palette, today's being "Blue had me at hello". These palettes are such good value (i got mine from ebay for around $8 each) and such good quality, the eyeshadows are so pigmented, are true to tone and last all day. To me the only down side if any,is i wish there were more matt colours but the colours them selves are so pretty they make up for the lack of matt. Something i love about these palettes is they are so versatile with so many different tones you can create anything from a subtle day time look to a dramatic night time look.
"Blue had me at hello"

These colours dont have names, these are the top 4 eyeshadows in the palette.

These are the bottom 4 eyeshadows in the palette.

And here is a fun, bright look i created using these eyeshadows....

Overall i love these eyeshadows they are such good quality and so affordable. Have you tried these eyeshadows before?Let me know you're thoughts and stay tuned because the next post will be featuring the "Petal Pusher" palette :)

Favorite Products for 2012!

Hi pretties! To start with i have to apologize for lack of post's lately although i think everyone is in the same boat at this time of year! Lots of exciting things have been happening, my beautiful daughter Indie turned 1 just before Christmas and didnt she just have the time of her life! I hope you all had a happy and safe Christmas, ours was spent with family opening gifts and enjoying all that delicious Christmas food (i would be lying if i said it wasn't one of my favorite parts!). It was also extra special this year as Indie was old enough to enjoy her presents  and get spoiled, that made my day :)
Today's post is about my favorite products throughout 2012 that i would not of been able to live without, so i have selected my favorite product for each category and in some cases 2 (there were some very good products this year!)

Face Product
L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation-This has been my favorite foundation for the last few months and i will not be replacing it any time soon! This is designed to give you that lit-from-within glow, whilst i dont know about that i find it gives you a flawless finish without looking cakey and the coverage is buildable. This is great for anyone who likes medium to full coverage and the shade i am is "Golden Sand".

Lip Product
Essence Lipstick- This is hands down for my the winning lip product for the year! I LOOOOVE these lipsticks! They go on so creamy, dont flake and last for ages and best of all are only $3.50! My favorite shade is "In The Nude" .

Cheek Product

Mac Cream Colour Base in "Hush"- This is a creamy blush that is a peachy-golden colour and i have never found another blush like it. It gives you the most beautiful glow and makes you're skin look radiant and last's for me alot longer than powder blush.

Eye Product(s)
Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencils- As the winner of this category i was going to give it to my Inglot 40 eyeshadow palette but i felt like that was cheating lol so something else that i use almost every single day are my NYX jumbo eye pencils. There are so many colours to choose from and are a perfect base for you're eyeshadow,as long as you use an eye primer i find they do not crease. My favorite colours are Milk,Black Bean and Sparkle Leopard.

Urban Decay's eye pencil in "Perversion"- This is the best black eye liner i have ever used. It is the blackest black and lasts for hours and hours. As its a little more on the pricier side i have searched high and low for good dupes of it but cannot find anything that comes close it is amazing! If you are an eyeliner fan you must try this!

The Balm "Nude Tude" Palette- I have seen so many favorites this year with the Naked palette in them but for me i much prefer this palette! To be honest i haven't had it all that long but it has quickly become something that i use daily. The colours are very pigmented and are all a little different to anything i have i have a post coming up shortly with swatches and a look!

Nail Product
Kleancolour Nail Polish- I only discovered these nail polishes this year and i have fallen in love with them! They last just as well,if not better than high end nail polishes and are so in-expensive (i believe they are around $3 each) they have a huge colour selection and dry quickly.

Hair Product

Juuce "Argan Soft" Shampoo & Conditioner-  I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for the better part of the year and it is amazing! What i like about it,is it is so nourishing and conditioning on the hair but is in no way heavy and it gives so much shine!

Beauty Tool

Beauty Blender Sponge-  I discovered this sponge early on in the year and have used it every day since to apply my foundation. I have never got a smoother, more flawless result with brushes, other sponges or my fingers for applying foundation. I love my makeup brushes but i will always continue to use this for my foundation.

DKNY "Pure" Perfume- This has become my signature scent this year after one of my best friends bought it back from over seas for me. This is the perfect perfume for me as its soft enough for the day time but still nice for night time and its not sickly sweet. It has notes of jasmine, peony and honeysuckle.

Thats my favorites for 2012! Have you tried any of these products? I also wanted to thanks all of my beautiful followers for you're support this year,i have met the most beautiful people this year through this blog  and each and everyone of you mean the world to me :) thanks for stopping by and dont forget to leave you're thoughts on my favorites below!
